Download and Programmatic Access to AMS Databases


In addition to email notifications and visualization apps for direct access, our databases can be downloaded using the following three methods:


Fixed-point download

Connect to fixed JSON endpoints to download the NIPI databases CSV files and the NewsBot of the day. Instructions for programmatic access with Python can be found here, and the URLs are provided in the table below.


API v2 introduced 10/2025

Our new API method is more flexible and adds features not available elsewhere. We recommend using this method going forward. The API documentation can be found on our GitHub. We have also developed a Python SDK (ams-sdk), which integrates access to all our data in just a few lines. The API user key and service URL are provided to authorized users on request.


In-app download

CSV files can be downloaded from our two visualization apps (NIPI and News Balance). Unlike the other two methods, in-app download cannot be performed programmatically.

The credentials to access the data should be the same as those you have used to reach this page.

Usernames (your email) are case sensitive. In case of doubt, please refer to the credential email from no-reply@alternativemacrosignals.com

The access rights to the different databases are individual and depend on your subscription. If on Trial, you will only have access to the databases with a "Trial" tag.
